I just want to get something off my chest about the Karl Rove scandal. Just bear with me. I read today that "Bush announced his Supreme Court nomination early to take the heat off of Karl Rove, and the Star Tribune took the bait hook, line, and sinker." I've got something to say about that. Duh!! Of course that's why he announced John Roberts early. You are just stating the obvious. What I don't understand about you is why you think that Karl Rove should be fired right this second, and you will forever look down on the Bush administration if the "appropriate actions are not taken." Let's look at facts.
Fact: Anything you say is not going to change anyone's mind about what to do with Karl Rove who has the authority to do so.
Fact: Karl Rove has not yet been charged with criminal conduct, nor has he been convicted of criminal conduct.
Fact: It is not known whether or not Karl Rove actually knew whether Valerie Plame was still undercover. For all we know, he's as clueless as Bush about that. Yeah, I went there.
Fact: You're a dousche. Okay, so that's not a fact, but this is. Wilson is the one who paraded his wife around for all to see. There hadn't been any pictures of Plame in Robert Novak's column, and Wilson is the one who made it known what she looked like.
Fact: I'm pissed off about hearing all this shit.
Let it be. When charges are brought up against whoever, or if they are not, the appropriate steps will be taken at that time. Until then, just sit down and stick your thumb up your ass and stop running your mouth. Okay? Thank you. You've been a lovely audience.

Well, part of that may come from Bush's assertion that he would fire whomever was found to be the cuase of the leak. Rove has admitted to having given her name. It seems fairly simple. But now Bush is backing off his previous plan.
